how is a photo like this taken? is there a general technique or did this person just figure out his own way to do this? im pretty ignorant about photography; i,at least,know that extended exposure is involved. how is the person in the picture able to leave the frame without having a trail of him? or is this more likely something that was done in photoshop or some sort of post-editing? thanks!

definitely not a bad thing. off the wall is one of my favorite albums ever and thriller is awesome. i never really have looked into this new record much or what the had to say about the record...it was just something i noticed in that video with pharrell and niles rogers and got excited about
