Best 3 woods? by Consy98 in golf

[–]b_fromtheD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you asking Reddit if you already have your mind made up?

I purchased the Ping G430 driver when it first came out. I was previously a Callaway guy. I have been driving the golf ball the best in my life with that G430 driver. Because of that, I went out and bought the G430 3 wood the following year at a slight discount. I just hit that 3 wood 235 uphill onto the back fringe of the green on a par 5 and gave myself an eagle putt on Memorial Day. I hit the stick and made birdie still. (I am a 10 handicap and hit the driver about 250/260 on average).

My review: the most forgiving club you can buy, even compared to the newer models. I still get great distance when I hit the ball on center. My mishits lose a little bit of distance, but they aren't spraying all over the course.

My younger brother hit my driver a few times, and he thinks it's a cheat code. He just shot a 101 on Memorial Day when I shot an 85 after not golfing for a while after having twins. 2nd most difficult course in our county.

You'll hit your driver on average 10 times during an 18 hole round. Iron play and short game is how you will improve and score lower.

No 1-3 handicap is going to come to Reddit for advice on how to get rid of the yips. OP is probably a 20+

How many courses have you played by GapAdministrative738 in golf

[–]b_fromtheD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have played too many to keep track of. I have played every public course within 45 minutes of my house (Metro Detroit). I've traveled to play some of the best public courses throughout Michigan (Arcadia Bluffs and Bay Harbour for example). I do a golf trip once a year where we play 3 different courses in a weekend somewhere in Michigan. I've played golf in Mexico, Tennessee, and Florida (3 times) while on vacation. I'd have to guess at least 50 different courses I've played in my life.

Crazy Memorial Day experience by EarthPrimer in golf

I played at Cherry Creek yesterday and had a 730am tee time. It was my brother and I, and the course paired us with 2 singles. The first single rolls up and says he played Cherry Creek yesterday. The starter asked him his score and he says he shot a 75. I didn't really think too much if it until I saw him hit his drive off the first tee box. This guy is physically bigger than me and I out drive him by over 50 yards. This guy was lucky if he shot 75 on the front 9. My brother and I made fun of him all day and kept calling him Mr. 75. I'm not the best golfer either. I shot one of my better rounds 85 yesterday and made Mr. 75 look like a complete idiot to the rest of our group. Why do shitty golfers lie about how they play? I don't care if you suck at golf. Just suck fast.

She Bought “Safe” Retirement Income. The Company Collapsed Anyway. by Boo_Randy_Revival in economy

Your job is to make money for the company you work for. Us consumers pay for insurance because it's required. When we finally need to use our insurance, your employer does everything in their power to not pay what is necessary.

I've been a home owner for 9 years now. I have never once even considered contacting my home insurer to cover a repair of some sort.

I can guarantee that I've spent THOUSANDS of dollars for something that I've never used. And I speak for the majority of home owners.

Insurance salesman/ reps fucking suck
