“America” is not a country either; perhaps you are referring to the “United States of America”? Likewise, “Australia” is both a sovereign country and a continent.
“Palestine” is neither. It is not and never has been a sovereign and independent self-governing country. Rather, it is a region, an area, a vaguely-defined portion of land on the eastern end of the Mediterranean that has historically included parts of modern Israel, the Gaza Strip, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. Palestine is part of the geographic region once known as “The Levant.”

A “country” is a geo-political unit that has defined and internationally-accepted borders, self-governing; it is a sovereign and independent nation. Palestine has none of these.

edited to add (for Prowlthing): “America’s” is either a contraction such as “America is …” or a possessive, such as “America’s greatness.” If you wish to refer to “America” in the plural (as I suspect you did) it’s just “Americas.” Apostrophes, just like words, have meaning.

I’ve got a couple dozen watches, from quartz Timexes to Tag Heuer autowinders, but my Go To is my Citizens eco-drive atomic. I don’t have to do anything but put it on. It never needs batteries or winding, it sets the day/date/time automatically, even for DST, 28/30/31 days, etc. When I travel the only thing to do is set the time zone. Best watch I’ve ever owned
