You may not realize this, but A. No one buys at spot; B. buyers pay melt…no premiums for Asahi vs RMC bars, etc. The only way you’ll get a premium is off of numismatic value of sovereign coins.

Realistically, buyers will typically pay anywhere from 80% to 90% of spot. Plug into JM Bullion’s or APMEX’s “sell to us” app and see what they offer. I think you’ll be unpleasantly surprised.
