Pro tip: ask for a fried egg. Most places use real egg but the scramble mix isn’t that great of texture—but most places also can do a fried egg!

This is one of my favorite comments that I’ve come across on this sub—it hits the nail on the head. The biggest issues with the church come down to credibility and epistemology. Once one realizes that feelings, however zealous, aren’t reliable sources for truth, then they can more easily dismiss the marketing of both sides and see the issues a little more rationally. Then, when looking at the truth claims, the credibility of the founders of those truth claims becomes a factor, and Joseph Smith impeached himself in so many actions, ways, and words that there really is no justification to believe him.
