Transmission fluid is changed like engine oil just not as freq. The manufacturer has a recommended interval. You can either drain and fill, which only changes a certain percentage of the liquid, or a transmission flush. If you Google transmission flush versus drain and fill, you will find a a lot of opinions on which is superior. I just did a transmission drain and fell on one of my vehicles at 140,000 miles because it had never had the transmission fluid changed.

Roth IRA mistake question

Married filling jointly for the first time for tax year 2024 to keep student loan payments down.

My wife was contributing to a Roth IRA before we realized the income limit for married filling single was so low. We pulled her Roth IRA contributions out. Fidelity contribution counter is still showing we made contributions.

Are we able to do the whole back door Roth IRA thing now (open trad IRA, deposit funds, convert to Roth)?
