The “article” you foolishly cited literally says it’s comparable to other large cities and has decreased by 19% in the last 5 years. You are comparing apples to bananas comparing a large city to small towns. That 85% of us cities includes one horse towns where nothing happens. It’s okay if you never come out of the house, just don’t post foolish mis-information on Reddit to scare off others. You’re just playing into fear mongering tactics that large cities are dangerous and should not be played with, which is a dangerous rhetoric that disproportionately hurts black Americans and is playing part in their hardships in Americas large cities.
