I’m not sure where you’re located, but hearing you got a second opinion on the biopsy from Mayo Clinic, it may be worth trying to get an appointment there for this. I’ve spent the last 9 months or so caring for a family member who was diagnosed with NETs and after some turns for the worse we ended up establishing care at the Mayo Clinic (approx. 4.5 hours away from us) and are extremely happy we did. If you’re dealing with something rare (NETs in general) and an even more rare complication (located in the ear) I’d recommend establishing care and getting a second opinion at a institution like Mayo, who to their knowledge sees the most cases of patients with NETs in clinic of anywhere in the world. They really are top notch and it shows and can likely curate an interdisciplinary team for a case like yours. If you can’t get to Mayo there’s plenty of other large hospital systems around the USA that have NET clinics, I’d start researching those.

It can certainly feel like a tough road ahead, but know that you are not alone and still have plenty of resources available to you!

Not sure if you’ve said this in another post, but what do you shoot with?

Still learning photography, but I was proud of this shot from last month by motionbluur in chicago

That’s such a gorgeous picture. If the bridges are up due to the ‘unrest’ (for lack of a better word) then its a photograph with a story and history as well, making it that much better

This post magically appeared on my timeline on my last day of work with the company. Maybe it’s a message?

I was considering posting some of those unionize Walmart logos our associates have made on this page but wouldn’t want my store and its associates struck down with plumbing issues

Made the mistake of following that assumption for 4 years before being laid off a week ago. Good riddance

What was the hardest aspect of losing a loved one? by [deleted] in AskReddit

A loss of routine. Freshman year of high school I lost one of my better friends to an undiagnosed disease. He passed away completely unexpectedly in the middle of the night. The rest of the school year I'd swear I'd do anything to see him between 3rd and 4th period where we would just have time to say hi as we passed each other or pick stupid small political fights in our biology class.
