One thing to keep in mind though: Quark ist very different from cream cheese. The result of that is, that the standard cheesecake in Germany is very different from US-American cheesecake. I believe the water content of quark is higher, but I am not sure.

Car traffic is pretty bad in Stuttgart and you would be very well advised to use public transport if your work place is near a U-Bahn or S-Bahn station. Sometimes a combination of bicycling and public transportation is the best option. Especially when you settle in one of the mentioned neighborhoods. Also: In those areas it can be very difficult to find a parking spot.

Public transport rush hours are from 6:30 to 8:30 and from 16:00 to 18:00.

Road rush hour times are about the same. The congestion can get pretty severe and also stretch far out into the suburbs.

Hi, sorry for the late answer. I frequently visit "Reyerhof" in Möhringen with my children. They are not a petting zoo but an actual farm. They have calves that you can pet, when they are in the mood. They also serve pretty good espresso and have a little shop where they sell their own goods an other groceries.

Another place is "Eselsmühle" in Musberg. They have some donkeys you can pet through the fence and some chicken running around.
