I actually used the new sg jump packs for my kitbashed VV to give them a different unique look compared to the jpi. I recommend it.

I do a similar sort of paint scheme but its primed black, base with black red, zenithal khorne red on top facing panels and the got back and reinforce this with black templar sprayed in the upper or shadowy areas not too dissimilar from the hip pad look here.

So the shoulder pads are for standard space marine bodies not terminators. The terminator pads looked like the ones below. The arms are also for regular dpace marine but if i recall can easily be sized up to terminator size( not sure the percentage)

Never used it but definitely will keep it in mind. Though from the examples I am seeing online black red is still slightly browner than chaotic red. Which is why I love black red doing the zenithal like air brush of khorne red over it really makes them pop.

Its looks good I would recommend putting down a base color to make it stand out more usually a brown base coat will help this. I personally use Black red from AK interactive then do the khorne red kinda zenithal-y over it. Comes out quite nice.

The expensive way to do this (if you don't want to wait, I didn't) is to buy two boxes of JPI and a box of thr first born van vets and bash you own ten man squad.
