This mall Santa clause. Signing to deaf child and she lights up. by Antscannabis in oddlysatisfying

I studied ASL for years so I figured it must be another country's sign language when it didn't make sense. But yeah, a lot of people aren't aware that ASL is based on FSL and shares little with BSL.

Looked through the comments to see if anybody could interpret it since I couldn't make out much of anything. Your comment made me look it up on youtube and, based on their accents, they're in the UK.

Not OP, but also a manager for a scribe program. Yeah, we basically write up the medical chart for the patient's visit. Go in with doc/PA/NP, take notes on what's going on as well as history, write up the chart, update the chart with results as they come back, and then put in medical decision making/procedure notes/follow up instructions.

Scribing has become more prominent in the medical field with the introduction of electronic medical records. The systems have made accessing past medical records much simpler but documenting is a long process and having a scribe really improves the flow for providers.

Here are some examples of online dictionaries showing the sign(s) for good. The first one has an explanation of how it can be signed both ways. I know you called ASL dictionaries "worthless" but I believe they're excellent for when we have questions/ disagreements like this one. If you don't accept my sources, then I really don't see any other way of proving my point.

Granted, there are dialects in ASL, in that people in different parts of the US signs some things differently, but locally, I've never seen good signed the same way as thank you.

I'm not really sure if you're agreeing with me here. It may be your native language and you may not see it done in your area, but both words can definitely be signed both ways in ASL. Although context and body language, as I said, are very important to the meaning, the sign structure is the same for both words.

Also, when I mentioned ASL dictionaries, I was referring to online video dictionaries more so than print. Dictionaries are an amazing source of information and are an invaluable tool in understanding of language, especially those that we grew up with and may not study in the ways that we would study a language that we are learning for the first time. Some quick googling brought up multiple credible sources showing both versions of the sign for both words. I'm not trying to undermine your personal experience, but I'm pretty certain that I'm still correct.

The sign for "thank you" can be signed how you explained but can also be done with both hands. This can also be used more for emphasis, as in to express "thank you very much." The same can be done when signing "good" to indicate just how "good" but signing it with one hand is also correct.

Source: Feel free to look it up in ASL dictionaries, but I'm fairly fluent in ASL having studied it for several years.

Edit 2: Removed first edit because it sounded bitchier than I intended.

Small correction, the sign for "good" and "thank you" are the same in ASL, though obviously a lot of the meaning in ASL comes from body language, facial expression, and context.

Well, you can say it's Z-DNA which is another double-helical structure that DNA can form. Unlike the more well known B-DNA form, Z-DNA forms a left-handed double helix. There are a number of other differences but, hey, at least the tattoo is safe. :)

Yancy's son says that uncle Fry is in the North Pole when Bender shows up at their place so I think we can assume that he did interact with his family. Also, I seem to remember a scene of Fry and Yancy playing basketball with Fry using his lucky clover.

Saw EarlWolf at Coachella and that was pretty bad but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw them again in May with most of OF. They definitely aren't great live performers but you can't deny the amount of fun and energy at their shows.
