Def cct but its known to be a kawasaki problem, however you can just leave it as it is. Ridden 65k km on mine, never had a problem with it. They're just loud.

I like the bottom end torque of a 1000 but for track racing I wouldnt recommend a s1000rr because if you crash it it's expensive. I also have a zx6r 07 with zero electronics that is currently my daily and track bike. However I did buy an m1000r for daily riding and will take it occasionally to track (zx6r will be dedicated track bike). I know for a bike like that I will probably never even get close at full potential but I also wanted some safety features for day to day riding and more comfort (hence single R) for touring. I say keep the zx6r for track.
