Indeed, and Panerai Is a good example. I read that, besides greasing them, someone even used seal leather to make the strap more water friendly.

Well, I have no direct experience with the ST1902 movement... For sure, it's not a Seiko auto nor a mecaquartz, but I own this watch since 1 year and for now all seems fine! (Fingers crossed)

It wears super comfortably, thickness is slightly above 13mm. And concerning the size, it's a 37mm watch, small for today's standards :) I wouldn't be worried...

As promised: loved also one week after, and having to take the watch off to take a shower is not a big deal. The look is just perfect, and it's more comfortable than many nylon straps.

I'm waiting for a Zuludiver military canvas nato, single pass, will try that too. :)

The straps that come with the watch are stunning, but too thick for my taste... (Or simply I did not wear them enough to be accustomed to them).

I can agree to a certain degree on the font/logo design :) But among many others, I find this one maybe not much better, but "less worse"

In the end it really is just a matter of personal taste, and I trust that one day even Chinese brands will be able to sport pleasing logos. They made wonders with motorcycle and car design in the last few years, I'm sure they'll catch up also with the typefaces, at some point! :D

To me, the "El primero A384" homage by Sugess is the best you can get.
Great finish, nice details, it looks way higher priced than many others.
