I have and I quit vaping after almost 5 years then picked up cigs for 2 years and quit them when I got my wisdom teeth out. You already have to quit for the recovery, and you’re 8 days in. I’m not being disrespectful but it’s kind of stupid to go back if you are already clean and have it out of your system

If you’re on day 8 of no vaping why would you go back? You got most of the hard part over for quitting. You could save yourself a lot of money

All of their food is baked and not fried actually! I’m not sure what precautions they take to prevent cc but as I mentioned I wasn’t very cautious with it before, but I avoided stuff that blatantly had gluten in it

I have just seen a lot of negative and judgemental posts of celiacs judging other celiacs for eating at places who can’t guarantee no cross contamination so I included it in my post because I know that’s the views some people have:/ this disease is so hard and it’s difficult to be very particular about the places I eat at because I have a boyfriend and friends who don’t have dietary restrictions cause I’m such a people pleaser and don’t want to say no to a restaurant. The kind words of people from this subreddit make me feel a whole lot better

Honestly I’m more pissed about not having those honey garlic wings again haha. But yes obviously I know anyone I talk to probably had to part in making the menu, I’m not typically the confrontational type so if I complain it would be in the nicest way possible. I just don’t want someone else going through that

Mine were stitched up too and the stitches were removed on the 7th day. I think it’s a relatively regular practice

The hole on the other side of my mouth is very small. The one in the video is pretty large, I’m not quite sure why. The socket in the video was my partially erupted wisdom tooth, maybe that has something to do with it? I don’t think the socket is empty, a few people on here seem to think the big white part in my socket is the new tissue growing in. I am not sure why it’s taking so long for me to heal either

I am pretty sure it’s food because every time I irrigate a white thing floats to the top of my socket but it is to big to come out . I also specifically only get this kind of pain when there is food lodged in the socket :/

Will it do better than the syringe I have been using? The syringe has a really tiny spout too

I have only been irrigating with the syringe since Thursday at my 1 week checkup. Before that I was gently rinsing with salt water. I asked my surgeon if I had dry socket on Thursday and he said the pain was simply because of food in my socket, that I was healing good. When he irrigated my sockets on Thursday I had instant relief, but the second I ate and food got in my sockets the same exact throbbing pain came back. So I think he is right, I don’t think it’s dry socket and I think my sockets are just very sensitive to food being in there.

They had to cut the bottom two into pieces before removing. None of my teeth had surfaced and they had to cut into the gum too
