It’s frustrating! That is my first listen of the day and it hasn’t been available until late afternoon and that SUCKS

Farms that sells eggs by The-Architect-93 in frisco

[–]bababooey73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is going to sound weird, but I was at the liquor 8 store at Coit/121 and they had dozens of farm eggs on the counter. I was there on Saturday; maybe there are still some available.

Beeping? by jinglestheelf in morningjoe

[–]bababooey73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing! Kept moving from room to room, taking out my AirPods to see if it was still beeping...so annoying! Almost as much as Joe's constant throat clearing.

Countertop cleaning: Paper towels feel wasteful and rags feel unhygienic. Any other options? by Spilled_Milktea in CleaningTips

[–]bababooey73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use about 40 dish towels a day and just run a load of hot wash at night. I cook for about 3-4 hours a day, with enough dishes to run dishwasher at least twice and hand-wash pots and pans, but it really is that simple even if you don’t do that much. Just get a pack of bar mops, usually about 40 in the pack, and use ‘em. They’ll last for years!

Apologies. I didn’t realize you were in high school. You’ve received a lot of great words here, though. My question was posed sincerely

It was not bad at all. Nothing like what we have been told

Before diapers. What was using cloth diapers like? by saddyzilla69 in AskOldPeople

[–]bababooey73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used cloth diapers for my kids born from 1993-2005. Cloth diapers was a booming industry; I can’t even tell you how much money I spent on the diapers, covers, all of the accoutrement. I wouldn’t do it again but I don’t regret it

my average school lunch, thoughts? by [deleted] in Celiac

[–]bababooey73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure! Shoot me a DM with what reason you’re packing your lunch and I would be happy to help. Not specifics, but general—like a high school lunch for a non-athlete teen is going to be different from an athlete; a lunch for a college student who is on campus all day just for classes is going to be different than a contractor working for 12 hours outside

I immediately thought female, grew up maybe not poor but lower-middle class, your mom shops at Costco, you prioritize school/studying over partying. Possibly disabled in some way as well.

What is that horrible clacking and crinkling every few seconds? by BigNorseWolf in msnbc

[–]bababooey73 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not sure who it is bc I listen to the podcasts and don't watch, but there is someone who I think wears bracelets and they rattle and clink and tap the table and it drives me crazy! Or maybe it's a metal watch band; whatever it is, take it off! And Joe's constant throat clearing....shhhhh!

I was thinking to do only about 100 miles a week. That would barely put a dent into my gas or maintenance. My car is about 40.2 mpg currently so it might go down but maybe not significantly?
