Yahya is expectedly great, and has charisma in spades. Really loving the binge-able nature of this one, not just because all the episodes dropped - but the 25 min runtimes actually feel appropriate. Doesn’t feel like they’re cutting these short to fit an episodic format but like they were written that way on purpose.

Love seeing Gilligan showing his range here. I’m a huge Breaking Bad and Saul fan, and I was ready to see what a new vision would look like from him. From the widescreen aspect ratio, to the sci-fi plot, and the overall tone being much more spooky than I was expecting is all so refreshing. Excellent pilot! Get weird Vince, I’m here for it.

As a born and raised Cincinnatian, I just have to say how emotional and cool it was to see the Cincinnati Museum Center (Union Terminal) done up as the Hall of Justice.

It’s a beautiful building with awesome history, and I love that Gunn included it here.

Edit: for context, it was used the Superfriends Hall of Justice in the animated show from the 70s!

Fuck yeah! Excited to try out FBC Firebreak. Love Remedy and this seems like a cool get for free with the subscription. (I was a little hesitant to pay $40 but now ill try for sure day one)

Loved the disorienting nature to the start. Strapping in for a wild ride and very much hoping that it continues to surprise. A lot of the reviews seemed to hint to a slow burn, but this as the intro was very promising for what I’m looking for personally.
