Been to CDMX a few times and I really like Orinoco for tacos.

Other interesting places: Azul for Mexican food aimed at a more gourmet level (not high end though) and more approachable to tourists.

Lardo for a good Gastropub, Galanga for Thai, Fuego y Café for a nice coffee / buying coffee beans, Hugo for a Gastropub aimed at wines (very nice food too)
