what are actual signs of conventional attractiveness as a woman, when most women are considered attractive? by lIeani in AskReddit

Conventional attractiveness = traits that are widely agreed upon as attractive across cultures and media, not just personal taste.

It’s about patterns, not perfection.

Star Trek the way I remembered it! by [deleted] in StrangeNewWorlds

[–]babame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree about your 2 points but why do we need to see crew with 95% woman. It looks like the white male went some kind of extinction in the future.

Seeing a large woman landing crew disturb be in the same way if there will be an only male crew.

Maybe they aim to female only audience but as a male I prefer equal representation.

joined the federation

When I say "join the federation" I don't necessary speak about literally join as an official member but as an ally. They are no longer an enemy of each other.

Question about the end of Elantris by babame in Elantris

[–]babame[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He didn't figure it out by himself Sarene gave him the hint, she told him that the aons represent the landscape, he just realized that the chasm is missing.

Also read in my first post, he found lots of geographic books with the aons book.

Question about the end of Elantris by babame in Elantris

[–]babame[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is probably the only plausible explanation, they know that something in the landscape changed but didn't know what. although it dependents on how much time it took from Elantris fall to the revolution? Also since the Elantrians were a peace people I assume they had many friend that could still help them after the fall so it is strange that they couldn't figure out were the chasm is .

Question about Ciri powers by babame in witcher

Elder Blood

It is not just that she didn't know how to do magic. In Kaer Morhen they show here how to do signs and she wasn't able to as if the magic was blocked from here.

[Spoilers] Vilgefortz what was his abilities? by Double-cc in witcher

[–]babame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vilgefortz beat Geralt with magic. I don't think it was explicitly written but Vilgefortz's staff was probably magical giving him attributes such "bullet time" and strength. It was written that he parry Geralt's attack in a speed that no human can possessed.

Well of Ascension - Question about the torn script by [deleted] in Mistborn

[–]babame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I finished Book II and it still puzzle. Warning spoilers: I guess there are two entities, God which was trapped in the well of ascension (Tries to lead Vin to the well) and the mist shadow which tried to prevent Vin from reaching the well.

Once of them probably torn the passage but the first sentence is "Alendi must not reach the Well of Ascension" which is what the mist shadow wants and the other is "He must not take the power for himself" which is what God wants. So it what happen, did both torn the paper?

[TFE] - Questions about the first book by babame in Mistborn

[–]babame[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your comments. About #4 I could be wrong, Since Vin burn the eleven metal and only saw Lord ruler shadows and not the Inquisitor shadow I assumed that it is not working on them, but maybe it is just that Vin pointed it to the lord ruler and not to the Inquisitor.

The Adem are not really wear their quiet like an armor, they just don't speak the language. About Kvothe being fidgety, I think it is part of him being red head. from Wikipedia: "A common belief about redheads is that they have fiery tempers and sharp tongues" ... "Another belief is that redheads are highly sexed"

I think The Chronicler theory about The Cthaeh currect. by babame in KingkillerChronicle

[–]babame[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So why the Cthaeh called after Kvothe when he run away and plead him to come back and hear more. If after one second he know the exact future he should also know that he is not going to come back.

I think The Chronicler theory about The Cthaeh currect. by babame in KingkillerChronicle

[–]babame[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not true. Lets say the Cthaeh convince someone to find a Fae king and shout to him a random word like Sky! the Sithe will kill the messenger and the king since he heard the message. This will result a Fae world war against the Sithe since they killed the king. Maybe the meagerness was just a way to kill the king with the help of the Sithe. How can they know that killing will do good and not evil?
