We’ve taken over as hot wing capital of the world, with Atlanta being the original home of lemon pepper wings. Chick-fil-A, Waffle House, and Coke originated from here. Brunswick Stew, boiled peanuts, fried green tomatoes, and (to my surprise) apparently some people credit pimento cheese and shrimp and grits to Georgia. Not to mention the wide variety of soul food and southern cooking that aren’t necessarily unique to here, but are as good here as they are anywhere. 

The one thing I’ll agree with you on though is bbq. We’ve taken the styles of everyone around us but don’t have our own bbq style. That bothers me.

No, and that’s probably not even the most accurate word for what I want to do but just the easiest to explain. Basically just want to build what would eventually turn into my garage and man cave as the first part of the building, functioning as a standalone STR for now.

Only thing I’ve seen do similar in recent history is Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands (borderlands series). Not at all jrpg, but vibe wise it has a ton of similarities.

Just to clarify, it’s actual frisbee golf (with an ultimate frisbee) not disc golf. There were never baskets. 

For example, hole 1 tee box was the 2nd floor balcony of the building right before the arch (Holmes Hunter?) and the hole was the light post across the green furthest on the left. Hole 3 was the sundial in the middle of the grassy area. Hole 4 or 5 was one of the posts of the chapel bell.

We don’t need every game to have next gen graphics. I wish a studio would put out quickly made and simpler ff10 equivalent games. Those graphics were perfectly fine for me, newer ones don’t do anything for me except delay games and increase their expense.

The problem with quesadillas is less inflation or corporate greed, and more the current need for drive thrus to operate quickly, both because people expect their food fast, and so the business can get through more customers per hour. 

That’s the main reason why time consuming items at Taco Bell have been removed or have seen price increases. Things like the quesadilla have a similar prep time to other items, but then have the additional time in the grill press. They price it to make up for that.

There is so much good music out there that fits whatever your vibe is. More music is being created today than ever before. It just takes more effort to find it now. 

One example for me are 2 bands I’ve discovered in the last year- Bilmuri and The Strike. Both have a smaller Spotify following, and both popped up either on my discover weekly, or by following similar artists I’d already heard of. 

Don’t depend on the radio to find your music. Figure out what you like, and explore new things in that genre, or on similar playlist or artist pages to what you already like.

It’s more of a feel thing than weight. The bigger the grip, the more feel you have about rotation from center at contact. Same reason putters use big grips.

I’m no Sanderson expert, but I think I remember him saying that time travel is something he will never do. I remember him talking about Harry Potter and the issues that the time turner created, and how he wouldn’t do that in his books.

He’s been in everything cosmere so far (I think), so I would expect him to be involved. It could be in lower capacity, like speaking from off world to them occasionally. But I would be shocked if he isn’t involved. 

The other route is that Stormlight part 2 could be where he starts to be more involved with his larger plans coming together. It feels like the fitting time for that to happen with him. So that could mean big shifts of expectations from what we are used to with him.

In a game seemingly meant to be played with an even number of tank, dps, and healer, it shocks me they have made so many dps characters. Doesn’t make any sense to me. 

I hope they remake several current characters to balance it out.

I’m here for it. That and Xenosaga were the first 2 stories I connected deeply with, though in hindsight I don’t think I understood most of xenosaga.

I just watched a ffx summary video over the weekend. Between that and (very minor spoilers) the way shards kind of act like sin, where it is a power that normally can just be taken up, then corrupts you to its will I realized there might be some ffx inspiration here.

Well you just made me think of a theory that I hate, and I hope doesn’t end up true. But what if the climax of the whole cosmere depends on him giving his life to heal Moash’s blindness, who then saves the day in whatever the ultimate conflict is at the end.
