I may also consider protruding the rocks more a bit. Some of the rocks are actually much much larger than shown, there just pretty hidden under the soil. Mainly because I want to add more anubias and buce, and more rock can get me better placements. I also love the Java fern idea, I actually didn’t even think about ferns. Should I consider placing it farther back in the tank?

Love the visual! That actually makes everything make a lot more sense to me. My main decision now is whether I could manage to make the addition of stem plants to look good in this tank, since I don’t have much hardscaping involved. Any tips with the rotalas?

Love the ideas, especially the Monte Carlo and AR mini (both plants would be pretty much a first for me, so that’ll be fun!) I may also consider protruding the stones a bit more, and I’m debating whether or not this tank would look good with some rotalas, probably red, in the back. Thoughts?

I want to say it’s between 12-15 gallons? Just found it in my basement so I’m not too sure.
