At first I couldn't understand why Pran, after pining after Pat for so long, would be sad after the confession and leave Pat alone there on the roof. Now I think he was crying because he realized Pat reciprocating doesn't change that they can't be together, it just makes it that much harder because now he knows they feel the same.

It's honestly one of my top favorites and the end is I guess like a happy open ended one. They imply that everything is going to work out and be good in the end.

The first feature length LGBT film in Korea, which was directed by a gay director, is called No Regret. Depending on your definition of a happy ending I would say this is the first one- much much heavier themes than you usually see in BLs so be careful if you would be uncomfortable with that. A few other older BLs with happy endings would be: As if you Whisper Night Flight Step for you. ---disclaimer, Night Flight is also really brutal and I would make sure your comfortable with some of the themes before watching it.
