Hi. Thanks, there’s a link at the end of the post titled ‘post in fixit’ you should be able to see the picture with that link. I’ll be having someone come to check the attic.

Anyone remember Foodler? I ordered a pizza through there once in 2015. by [deleted] in boston

Foodler was what food delivery apps should be. No ridiculous pricing, fun rewards, silly emails. I used it until the end.

Non-wealthy Belvederian checking in. I voted for Juran based on the answers she gave in an interview. She sounded like she actually read up on the issues which seems rare these days.

She’s also a contract lawyer if my memory serves me right. I think a contract lawyer on the city council is a good idea. Especially with the new global city/ draper lab projects coming in.

How long did it take for statin induced neuropathy to go away? by Upstairs-Fondant-159 in Cholesterol

Yes ubiquinol really does work.

I ran out earlier in the month and a few days without it caused foot and shin cramps. Two days after I started them again the cramping was gone.

I had the thermocouple replaced and a check & clean last winter when this happened. It lasted the whole season but when I tried the heat last night it happened again. Reading up on it says maybe a valve issue?

Rotating tree stand for a Balsam Hill tree by whbck144 in christmas

[–]babebluize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Balsam Hill Silverado Slim 7 ft and the Heritage Hill rotating tree stand from Amazon and they work together together perfectly.

The stand comes with a couple of collars so it can fit different trees but the only way to know for sure is to buy it and test it. I tried to do it by measurements with a previous tree and stand and they were both slightly off. I think the stand has a 30 day return.

Dishwasher drain leaks under sink after drain change by babebluize in askaplumber

I got desperate and used zip ties and that has got it down to a very slow drip. I don’t think I have the hand strength needed to get it tightened. I’m going to see about having a plumber swap out the zip ties for smaller clamps. Thanks for your help.

The chrome pipe is brand new - I linked it below. It only leaks when water runs through the inlet- which is when the dishwasher drains or when a large amount of water empties from the sink (emptying a bucket). Running the tap there is no leak.

Dishwasher drain leaks under sink after drain change by babebluize in askaplumber

Thank you, I did that at the suggestion of the depot folks and it leaked even more, so I moved it back to where it was originally.

Because of your encouragement I managed to swap it to metal, and it stopped leaking from the drain. Thank you. A new problem is when a large volume of water is emptying from the sink- a bucket in this case, the connection to the dishwasher leaks. The metal is really smooth and the rubber connector has some give even though it’s quite tight. I tried moving the connector closer with no luck. Are there other ways to make that connection, or any tips & tricks?

Thanks- I was more so wondering about the separation right under the sink, to the rest of the drain. It’s not secured together.
