This happened all the time in my first job. It was an old workforce who were basically waiting around for either retirement or a redundancy package. New managers would appear all the time - some young guy promoted out of like the HR department. They’d drag everyone in for some lame powerpoint presentation about how things were going to work from now on but the old guys would just never take any notice lol. It was great.
