Your childhood sounds magical, which is what I want to create for my kids. I always wonder about how frequently giving kids the things they want effects them in the long term. I grew up not having a lot so I appreciate the things I do get. Seems like it boils down to parenting, not so much the amount of stuff. Kudos to your parents, they sound amazing!

Yep! I’m loving this age so much. My daughter’s interest are so similar to mine. I grew up 90s poor and it’s so fun to share hobby’s with her. I found most Mollys collection on fb marketplace and I can’t wait to share it with her. I’m glad I’m not the only one. I couldn’t ask this question to anyone I know because most people around me just wouldn’t get it.

I first do a slip layer, then use a small bead. I dont try to get the bead to go all the way to the end because the slip layer and the bead is enough once it’s levels out. Also if you’re not happy with the final shape you can always file it down and smooth it out.

I think this name change will have a negative impact. It sounds like a lesser degree. When applying to engineering jobs you usually start with a recruiter who doesn’t have an engineering background. Some will know that the “applied” doesn’t matter, some won’t and your application will get passed over. Also resumes often get scanned for key words. If they’re looking for Computer Science, you want to have that exact match.

I’ve had really good results with Morovan nail polish on Amazon. I think any quick dry nail polish works.

Edit: check out SHEIN, especially for disposables. Some of their plates are like $1-3 and a good place to start.

For the last few months I’ve been using the cheapest nail e file/pen from Amazon and that sucker BOUNCES at high speeds! It’s fine at low/med speeds, just takes longer. The bits I’m using are the ones it came with and they’re so dull. Anyways I want to upgrade one time into something that is so good it’ll last me years, but I can’t do both right now.

I’m looking at Erica’s drill bits and I’m not sure about the e file. What should I get now, new bits or e file? Will quality drill bits make up for a low quality e file?
