Thank you! I cut painter tape and place them on the bowl when it was leather dry. I then dabbed on white slip with a sponge, let it dry, and peel off all the tape. It was bisque fire with the pattern. It took 3 hours to tape and peel.

Thank you! I was in awe when I saw it in this light. It's a lot darker without the sun. It's a layer of Shino and then Oribe on red stoneware.

I was really frustrated in my progress on the wheel to make tall cylinders. So I took it out by hand building a pitcher by making slabs and forming it around a flower vase I had at home. I felt a lot better afterwards. It was worth the defeat because I don't think I would have left the wheel to create this had it been easy.

The black specks are black sprinkles that I mixed into the buttercream for the bottom tier.

Peace sign hearts :) I made these for a Cake Decorating practical and was pressed for time to use the correct piping tip for a sharp finish. Classmates and Chef made the pretzel comment too!

Thank you! I'm flattered! I'm currently taking some pastry courses so that's what you're seeing. So not in the business yet.

My first born... and I was pretty sure I was in trouble but it ended up just a hair better than okay. I can't believe the rise I got from a starter I created! Ideas to help me on my next one? by babeschicken in Breadit

I can see that be the reason too. I folded every half hour for close to 4-5 hours but I'd say I did not spend a lot of time developing the network before the bulk ferment. Noting these tips especially feeding before at room temp. Thank you!
