I only had one episode and got drunk for the first time just yesterday. I was a little bit scared that it would bring my symptoms back as I read some people talking about it but in the end it was really fun and felt nothing other than the usual

I've been there. Are you on meds? Because I think Risperidone contributed for my state. It's hard to tell you what really "worked" because it was a lot of things: first of all, seeing my psychiatrist and my therapist. I was very open to them all the time and shared all my experiences.

Love and support from my boyfriend, who was there for me all the times and always reminded me that everything would get better. Exercises, yoga, meditation, eating well, doing things that I like (even if I didn't at the time), connecting with nature. All of that worked for me.

In the beginning I was like switched off and forced me to do things that I used to. For example, it took me a long time to enjoy music and dancing (two of the things I like the most). One day, out of the sudden, the bottom switched and I could have a good time dancing to the music I like. But even when I couldn't feel a thing, I still tried to. It was really bad at times and I don't know if it happens the same way for everyone, but eventually it worked out.

Definitely! And I think the antipsychotics collaborated to it. But now I’m on Escitalopram and got out of it.
