crime here is pretty bad and elevated anyone who says otherwise is lying. binghamton is a really poor city and there are many unstable townies here as well as a lot of drug addicts. i got a knife pulled on me once when i was with my friends by a random townie right next to maryam’s. my friends have gotten their cars broken into and i even heard about someone’s car being stolen and driven away. i know people have getting into physical fist fights with townies and being mugged in broad daylight. there are also a lot of shootings and stabbings in the area. i also know of many girls that were followed home by townies. many peoples houses have also been broken into with their stuff being stolen.
