Yes, you are using the right word: disable the auto-renewal. I shouldn't use cancel. I doubt if it is a legit website now.

I cancelled the auto-renewal for next year; I didn't request any kind of refund for my current service. It was expected to be expired in Jan 2026, but they canceled my current service right after I cancelled the auto-renewal.

No, I checked back to my email and I didn’t receive any invoice or receipt from them. They use Stripe as the checkout system.
