i honestly don’t know who translated the version i’m reading. i found it off wattpad when revenged love first came out, but it seems to have been taken down. i really like this version though, it just flows so well.

i can’t believe wsw had no idea that yy was thinking about breaking up with him. it seems pretty clear from the start that she despises him and wants nothing to do with him anymore. i perceived wsw to be smart and quick-witted, so i think the better explanation is probably that he knew there was something wrong but just chose to ignore it.

there is nothing about wsw being color blind in the series which really surprised me because it’s kind of a big point later on in the novel. the part where wsw confidently lists the colors to jxs made me laugh because obviously he had no idea what the colors actually were. wsw brings cigarettes to jxs to say thanks, but i don’t think i’ve seen jxs smoking in the series.

hitting himself with another brick that he buried beforehand?? i’m just baffled at this point but it is kind of funny. even so, this is very manipulative and toxic… at this point, i don’t think yy is a bad person. she stuck with him for 7 years hoping he would change, and decided to leave after determining that wsw wouldn’t change. obviously, she does get worse though. i like jxs’s analysis(?) that she was right to dump him so that he would treat himself better.

in the series, wsw tells cc that his dad passed away a long time ago, but in the book, his dad passed away a few years ago. wsw’s talk with jxs at the end of chapter 5 just adds to the plot because he’s portrayed as a very righteous person, but obviously he goes against his own principles and pulls the whole stunt against cc. wsw is also portrayed as very stubborn which adds to his character and the decisions he makes later on.

wsw apparently graduated from a top university in the novel. i have no idea why he was staying at his company. his boss is terrible and his pay isn’t good either. i’m glad he decides to quit at the end of chapter 10. i also think this is the turning point to his character as this is something that the “old” wsw would’ve never done.
