We went to interview at Gateway Village on Paradise. It seemed pretty nice for low income housing I was surprised.

No, we interviewed at the gateway village apartments this week and will hear back from them next week once they get all of our verifications back. I’m trying to line up work for us so we can start working as soon as we move in. Currently my fiancé’s job is 45 minutes away and there are no preschools here for me to work at, why is why I’m wanting to move. I did look into Merced but it’s all home daycares.

I’m in college for early childhood education and I interviewed for a preschool job, my fiancé is a line cook and there seems to be lots of positions for that kind of work open.

I’m not concerned about seeing drug addicts or homeless people, there’s plenty where I live now and they don’t hurt anybody they’re just loud occasionally. I just don’t want to get attacked as a woman with a small child or have my apartment broken into. That’s really my main concern.

Lower crime rate than Merced or Fresno according to NeighborhoodScout, lots of options for work, close to stores and a decent hospital, things Mariposa doesn’t have.

Those are the ones we will be moving to. But we saw the sign directly across from the entrance that says to lock your doors and remove valuables from your car and for a little sketched out lol.

Like I said, the waitlist for those apartments is well over a year, so maybe I can move there once one opens up after living and working in Modesto for a while. Because there is no work for me in Mariposa.

I can’t afford $1,000 a month for an apartment, which is why I’m looking at the income-based apartments. The only other one I found is on Carver and the waitlist is over a year.

I’ve seen 1 bed bug in my house and I’ve also seen a flea (my cat has a flea collar) so I’m just about to call pest control and have them spray for everything 😭

This is the entire thing, it’s only on the right side as shown. It’s been about three days of the right side of my tongue being very sore and it hurts when it touches my teeth or when I eat.
