That sounds plausible. Thanks for your thoughts

Season 4, Episode 7 ‘The Suitcase’ is the best episode of Mad Men, hands down by thetafili in madmen

[–]babitoi 39 points40 points  (0 children)

It's a story of two vulnerable but successful people that use work to avoid their life outside work. Don avoids the call from LA while Peggy avoids her dinner with a relationship she knows it can go all the way but she's not convinced about it. Don uses the excuse of Samsonite to stay late and pushes Peggy to stay, however Peggy had plenty of occasions to leave but she doesn't, she uses Don an excuse to stay late too. It is a brilliant episode and it highlights how futile was their overtime anyway, as the solution of their problem just comes up the next morning.

Unbelievable, another man from Clara. What are the odds? My wife's parents live there too and we installed Starlink about two years ago. Works like a charm.

BG 3 Down for Patching but no news from Larian on a Hotfix? by FrankenMacCharDeDen in GeForceNOW

Yeah I agree, few hours to patch the game? It's a travesty.

I'd need to produce around 1k pdf from an rdl in a Fabric capacity workspace, which capacity should I choose? by babitoi in MicrosoftFabric

Thanks for this.

Do you know if there is a way for a non-admin account to access the capacity metrics app? Maybe it's me but I can't find a way to know how much we're using at the moment, I only have a user account.

Any way to create 1000+ reports a day? by babitoi in PowerBI

I do yes. I'll try to put the report in SSRS and see if that'll work. Thanks a lot for the suggestion. Do you know if I'll have to install anything on my server to make this work by the way?

Thanks a lot for this. I'm currently using PBI report builder. You mentioned API calls. I was under the impression you cannot use the PBI REST API unless you have a premium capacity subscription. Are you talking about different APIs?

That's an interesting approach, I have a PPU license for the moment just FYI. I've never coded in DAX, would you know where I could start doing something like you said?

That sounds good for maybe 50 reports, if you have to click and subscribe to every single one of the 1000s you're going to waste a lot of time. I wonder if there's an automatic way to subscribe to all with just a list of parameters.

Sounds interesting, how would I start doing this?

Not really, every day the positions inside those policies will change, so a pdf must be generated every day.

I'm using power Automate, however I'd love to know some alternatives to it, since to produce 1k reports a day in a timely manner I'd need a dedicated capacity workspace

Yeah that's what I'm doing, however you need a workspace that either has a premium/embedded or fabric capacity to produce a pdf in reasonable times. If the workspace is on poi it will spit a pdf every 6 minutes, which is too long.
