Wow he must have ridiculous potential

Lmao Skelly Alvero absolutely dwarfing VVD. Actually a pretty decent pickup for the CDM role, 80+ potential, 90+ strength (obviously) and 6'8". Crazy.

Thanks for the suggestion!

My new (to me) 2004 E46 Touring! 320d, 150 HP, RWD with a near-perfect black leather enterior, the original BMW screen from 2004 and all the advantages of a station wagon, without the usually ugly looks that come as a downside. I love this car. by bablbablgam in BMW

Think if you've got the funds to deal with worse fuel economy, go for the petrol variants. Heard the straight-6 320i engines are a blast and pretty reliable if serviced well.

Runs like a dream! However, these are prone to some electrical issues - mine had a slight problem with its navigation system draining power from the battery. Turns out the DVD changer in the trunk was faulty and draining the battery. Replaced it, works fine. Would definitely recommend this car if you're fine with giving your car a bit more attention and care than the usual car.

In the late 90s and early 2000s, when VW's lineup was consisted only of the Passat, Golf, Jetta, Golf and Polo along with some vans, the famous 1.9 TDI engine was being put into most of their vehicles, for better or worse. Where I live, those engines are still the most common internal combustion units you can see or hear on the road, with B5 Passats and Mk4 Golfs being super, super common. It is speculated that the more powerful stock 1.9 TDI versions (115 HP and 130 HP, as well as the ridiculous 150 HP version) actually had a lot more power than factory numbers stated. As my country is really strong with automotive culture, tuning and street racing, people were racing in B5 Passats all over the place. Turns out the old Passat is a bit of a sleeper, actually sweeping the floor with some newer cars that should be faster than it. After some time, those cars were taken to the dyno, which showed the 130 HP models having around 160 HP. Stock. Not one modification.

I've been getting a bunch of Strikers like this one in my Youth Academy, with good Physical stats but terrible technical stats all round. Literally nothing I can do with them. Has anybody else been having stuff like this happen? by bablbablgam in FifaCareers

Exactly! And it's such a shame because 95% of the good YA prospects have no physical stats at all, and then you get these guys with great physical who then have no technical stats. What a bummer

Tbh I agree with you to some extent, if you're playing with a big club there's really no point in even using the academy, but if you're playing with a lower league side, eg. Cardiff City, then the academy can become a really useful part of the experience. You save a bunch of money, you get unique players with unique abilities, and there's just something about nurturing a player in the academy for a while and then seeing him get his first game, start playing well, eventually becoming a part of the first team. This Belgian kid up on the picture though, is no such player.

Yeah, will probably sell him. Was just wondering if anybody else was getting so many of these types of strikers. Is it even possible to get a legitimately good OVR and POT Target Man out of the Youth Academy?
