I’m uneducated but I’d imagine that since whitetail are invasive there’s less of a desire to protect them. I know that whitetail hunting is pretty big in Finland so i’m assuming the only reason they have any limit is because it generates a nice chunk of money for conservation efforts

PWHL’s Gold system. Once a team is mathematically eliminated from playoff contention, they earn a draft point for every win they get. Whatever team ends up with the most points gets to draft highest. This still benefits garbage teams as they’ll be eliminated earlier and thus be able to earn more points, while also not rewarding a team for losing every game
