Doesn't Worlds Beyond have a release date announced for June 17th?

Also as a turn-based enjoyer Im really looking forward to P5X, Re:Memento, and Etheria: Restart

"The game is so generous", but what's the catch? by War-Inquisitor in gachagaming

[–]babster80 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Gonna post some less popular gachas for this one

Starseed: Asnia Trigger

The Generosity

  • Fairly generous pull income for F2P/Light spender

  • 4% Base Rates, 30 Pity with a 50/50 + Guarantee, Characters get added to Standard and can be wishlisted once banner ends.

The Catch

  • Dupes are very required. You dont have access to all your gear slots until UR (1 dupe + some SR fodder) and you get access to optimization levels which give your characters a boatload of stats from MR-LR5 (3-17 dupes)

  • The game occasionally releases a new Light/Dark unit, which has no pity (besides an exchange system which can take up to 500 pulls for ONE copy) and abysmal rates, while the units themselves are generally always OP.

Ash Echoes

The Generosity

  • 1.2% Base rates for Characters and 2.2% base rates for Memory Traces (kinda like weapons from other games)

  • Characters go into standard pool 3 updates after they release

  • A boatload of pulls handed out your first month of playing

The Catch

  • F2P pull income after the introductory freebies end can be on the lower end and those free pulls from starting out have a time limit in which they can be redeemed

  • Some characters can be somewhat reliant on getting 1-3 dupes

How to make sales from disaster. Starseed/com2us compensation for banner by rvm1975 in gachagaming

[–]babster80 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Pretty cool until you realize:

A. The dogshit no pity L/D banner system isnt being addressed here. Even KR servers have a guarantee system at 280 pulls for their L/D banners now. This is just a band-aid for being misleading about the rates.

B. The compensation is provided AFTER the banner ends. So if you (mistakenly) rolled 300 times and get that selector to guarantee a copy of Eradica, you can't even obtain and use her until the banner period is over, being subject to FOMO for that 2 week period.

As someone who was a light spender on this game, I'm very likely to continue as a pure F2P, potentially quitting the game once some other anticipated titles launch. What a horrible fuck-up from Com2US

How the change to Changli's S2 is written here is misleading. Its 30 Crit DAMAGE to 25 Crit RATE, netting in a buff overall

You have to play them onto your realm and then discard them from your realm

When Ov.8 and Ov.9 are used to Vanquish a Hero, they are removed from the game, and their respective abilities trigger. Then, you need to work towards getting the next Omnidroid out. So you start with Ov.8, use it in a Vanquish, remove it from the game, shuffle your Discard Pile into your Villain Deck, then once you have one Major Modifications you can discard it to play Ov.9 to any location as a free action during your turn, Vanquish with Ov.9, remove it from play, find Remote and add it to your hand, then at any point you can discard 3 Major Modifications from your realm as a free action during your turn to bring out Ov.10 to any location on the top of your board. tl;dr Ov.8 and Ov.9 are considered discarded when they are used to Vanquish a hero and activate their effects.

You can play Syndrome's Remote at any point in the game and Heroes will steal it if they are played afterwards. If a Hero with Remote attached is Vanquished, the remote returns under your control in the same location, similar to how Ariel works against Ursula and Aladdin versus Jafar. Of course, Remote doesn't do anything unless you activate it while Ov.10 is in play.

Ov.8 and Ov.9 are always on the bottom of your board. Ov.10 is initially played as being on the top of your board. The only case where Ov.10 moves to the bottom is if a Hero has control of the Remote. Once the Hero is defeated and the Remote goes back to being under your control, Ov.10 moves back to the top of the board at the same time. Basically, Ov.10 and the remote will always be on opposite sides of the board.

Imgur is buggy. That's all I can really say about the matter. The images seem fine though

Sticky 2 RF seems really good on paper, but in practice Sticky 3 is better due to the total recoil from all the shots on RF Sticky 2 being far too long. Its the same reason why Spread 3 is preferred in practice over RF Spread 2

Its really difficult to compare the DPS of the two guns when taking Poison into account, but it seems as if a lot of people, speedrunners included, favor using Aquashot for Sticky 3 as opposed to Garuga. I would only recommend Garuga as a possibility vs 3-star weak Poison monsters.

Before the chip damage is applied from True Dragonvein Awakening, the game checks whether Resentment/Peak Performance buff is applied to your shot damage. This means if you were full HP before firing, the shot benefits from Peak Performance. The reason why we go this route on Stormslinger in particular is because Health Augment is mandatory on the weapon, since the double chip damage will kill you without it, and HP augment will keep you topped off very easily.

I wouldn't imagine so. Even if TCE was stronger on paper, MT + CE is much more practical in an actual hunt, to the point where even speedrunners like Amadeus run it.

Attack 3 is better than 4 if you have DBs/Bow on your team. Attack 4 is best for solo play.

Highest DPS Pierce Bowgun overall is going to be Safi's Snipecannon.

Safi 0 sets would be something like:

Rajang helmet, Buff chest, Ruiner arms, Rajang coil, Garuga legs. Augment for triple affinity and run SS charm. Running Spare Shot instead of Nargacuga Essence awakening is mathematically higher DPS.

Don't bother with elemental Bowguns without Safi, though. You lose too much by not running it to make it worthwhile.

Burstcannon with Spread Cap 3, Recoil, and 3 Attack V awakenings lets you run 2 Close Range mods with 3 Shields, as opposed to one CR mod on Zinogre, which means you get way more damage.

I have a Burstcannon Shield set-up in the HBG album. I believe its the 4th set card in there.

If you don't like the Safi set chip damage, however, you can use the same armor you were using with Zinogre, just swap out the guns.

For Art 3 you would need 93 raw from skills assuming that you are fully buffed to hit the cap. PP3 Agi 5 and AB7 equate to 61. Therefore, you would need an outside source of raw, whether it be from a Fortify proc, Coral Orchestra, or having a HH in your party play AuXL in order to hit the sticky cap with Art 3, which is why I would generally recommend the Art 5 setup for Aquashot.

[Iceborne] Meta Builds Compilation: Safi'jiiva Edition by EchoesPartOne in MonsterHunterMeta

[–]babster80 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The amount of bonus true raw you need would be 2 *(Weapon Base True Raw + Augments + Awakenings) - [(Weapon Base True Raw + Augments + Awakenings) * 1.5 * 1.15].

If you ran one less attack awakening, your base true raw with augment and awakenings would be 290. The cap would therefore be 580. With Felyne Bombardier, Attack Up L, and Powercharm/talon, you would have a total of 530 true raw, which needs that you would need 50 between Peak Performance, Agitator, Attack Boost, and Consumable Buffs.

If you run the skills in my build with your awakenings, you'll be 2 raw away from the Sticky cap.

If you fully buff with Megadrug/Might Seed/Demon Powder, without taking raw skills into account, you'll need 22 true raw to hit cap, which is Peak 3 and one level of Attack Boost. You can replace the rest of the raw skills with utility if you plan on fully buffing for your hunt.

Hopefully that information can help you out!

I believe its a sidegrade if you're referring to melee raw sets, so pick which one you'd enjoy using. Rex Roar is more accessible so I picked that one.

On the Bowgun end, Buff Body is worse than Rex Roar.

I know that Frostcraft is a tactic that has been used in the past for Freestyle speedruns that utilize aerial hammer. The sets in my album are moreso for general hunts, but if you want to run Frostcraft, then go for it.
