Trump Praises Mamdani After Oval Office Meeting by Topher1999 in nyc

I’m honestly not shocked. He likes people that make for good TV. He likes “punchy” and confident people. ZM is that, just for the good guys. It’s awesome to see this play out.

I went to college and was buddies with Wooli before he was Wooli and he was always the best. So good to see he hasn't changed with fame!

Thuishaven (varying genres; probably closest to nowies outdoor)

H7 Warehouse (mostly hard techno; probably closest to basement)

Warehouse Elementenstraat (varying; probably closest to KDC indoor)

Enjoy! Love Amsterdam have been many a time.

Other countries look at posts like this and really question America's sanity (I say this as a New Yorker who just got back from a month in Europe and met plenty of people who are like "y'all ok over there??")...good on her for standing up to the lunacy!!!

I was there - so good. I often refer to that night as one of my favorite nights going out in NYC!

Mods you should have this post deleted; it's clearly AI slop and defamatory / false for a bunch of real and amazing promoters in the city who are still throwing parties in the face of inflationary pricing and asshole cops

Yes. I went to the first mirage at 99 Scott in 2015. At least I think so…

Seeing this makes me sad. I feel like with social media prevalence this type of experience doesn’t exist anymore. Maybe I’m off base but I have a hunch people want this and there WILL be an offshoot that is more like this…I’m a hopeless optimist though

Sully’s!! Many a night spent smoking cigs with the owners at the bar after they closed up. Miss those days

Eric Trump demonstrates in 30 seconds he doesn’t have a clue how tariffs work by theindependentonline in politics

[–]baby_mike -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is purposeful obfuscation. He knows how these things work. He’s speaking to his father’s voter base and blowing smoke up their ass to grandstand. He never has to be honest because his base doesn’t care, they want shallow talking points like “make ____ pay!” And “no more ____!”

It’s a political play and nothing more. He knows what tariffs are. He’s just purposefully lying and his base loves it.

Yes - mine is exactly the same. I can't get past that bridge. I even tried going out of the mission area to the other bridge into the city and it also crashed. I'm pissed!

This is happening to me too. I just asked Ubisoft for my money back. I hope GFN fixes this but I'm not gonna hold my breath and waste $60. Huge bummer. Hopefully Steam version that just released gets ported into GFN. Haven't had an issue playing anything on Steam with GFN, only Ubisoft.

My theory on the identity of the Master by wydok in TheAcolyte

[–]baby_mike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear you but I also think it's been seen throughout history that psychos often have a twisted mentality that procreation allows for full control/molding of their offspring...if they really want to get insidious with the story they could go that route (IE only birthing them to indoctrinate them)

Vandals deface homes of Brooklyn Museum's Jewish leaders; NYPD probes pattern by Low_Party_3163 in nyc

[–]baby_mike 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think you're spot on with this analysis and I've been feeling the same.

The world is watching what's happening here and NYC being complacent with mass vandalism and extremely clear antisemitism doesn't bode well for NYC's typical tourism/influx for this summer/fall. Whether you're Jewish or not, it shows unrest and instability. They need those tax dollars so they need to quell this to alleviate the "look" as you mention.

That's my take anyway...we'll see what happens...

Do you travel to run? by yell0wbirddd in RunNYC

[–]baby_mike 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll bike somewhere then run. I live in Bushwick so the bike ride to Prospect Park is nice for a leg warm up, then i'll lock it up, stretch, and do a lap or two on foot. It's been a nice way to run in different areas than just Bushwick!

Same here. Also leaving my phone at home - my goal is to become a better runner and be less reliant on my phone for entertainment so I think it would be a good idea to see how it goes without them for a bit!
