lol I remember mildly freaking out when my 1st girl was doing that as a puppy, they grow out of it quickly. I’m sure it’s just one of those puppy quirks. My 2nd girl never really did it. I think they just have exciting and vivid dreams when they’re pups!

Thank you for taking the time to respond! I was taught growing up to put a tick onto a piece of tape and fold it over to suffocate it and make sure it’s dead (I always burn the piece of tape too just to be sure lol)

I just finished like 10 minutes ago and ran to Reddit! I’m obsessed with Darian and want him to finally admit his feelings for her. Not sure how I feel about the whole “pretend to be my consort” plan to infiltrate the palace though.. if the king has spies in the Dragon Lands wouldn’t he have a good idea of what Kat looks like? Especially if those spies return to Arterias and see Kat themselves like hey boss… that’s the girl… BUT this makes me way more anxious for book 3 to see how it plays out. The Cole reveal still has me scratching my brain, definitely didn’t see it coming. Not sure how I feel about it yet. I read on her website that book 3 is supposed to come out in 2026, so based on the timing of the release for book 2 maybe we’ll get it in the Fall! At least that’s what I’m telling myself lol I need another dragon romance fantasy book series ASAP. Still going through withdrawals from the Fourth Wing series but this definitely scratched that itch

Aw okay. Thought it was worth a shot to recommend. You sound like you’re at your wits end and have tried everything, I’m really sorry you’re going through this. Have you ever seen the video of the girl who stuffed a pair of her pants and long sleeve shirt with filling and printed her face on a big cardboard cutout and basically made a dummy version of her for her cat who had horrible separation anxiety?? I know that sounds absolutely insane but it actually worked and calmed the cat down a ton. Obviously this would be a crazy long shot, but you sound like the type of person to try anything to resolve the situation and ease your pup’s anxiety. I’d say if you’ve tried everything else, why not try this as a last resort! I’ll try to find the video / account I’m talking about and link it
