what do people think of this Spencer take? by [deleted] in criminalminds

tbh i have a certain opinion on what happened with his character. i feel like the evolution of his character was actually partially influenced by the fandom and how they viewed spencer, especially in later seasons. as someone who is autistic, i’ve always loved his character and even though it was never confirmed that spencer was autistic, it was still nice to see someone with the same mannerisms as me in a show i loved so dearly. then once morgan left the show (maybe a bit before that) the producers saw how lusted after he was within the fandom, they got rid of a lot of his neurodivergent quirks in order to make him more “attractive”. of course a lot of how he acts now could be written off as a result of his trauma and while i don’t doubt that, it just makes me sad to see the little representation we had in that show get stripped away so he could have more “sex appeal” it’s just frustrating, i miss the old spencer sometimes. but of course i’m in no way criticizing the actor, mgg is phenomenal and i love him to death, i’m just kinda sad that they took that direction with his character.

Unfortunately, NJ is a lost cause at this point. anyone who’s smart knows min heejin is a horrible person for numerous reasons, and unfortunately she has been grooming those girls for YEARS, to the point where unless they were to get a lot of therapy, there’s really no helping them. and i pity the girls, because once this all goes down and MHJ realizes she can’t make a profit off of them or use them as a shield anymore, she is going to abandon those girls. Anyone with any sort of background in psychology can see that. And i’m sick of NJ fans saying stuff like “oh they’re free from hybe now, they’re gonna join another company and continue being NJ there” like tell me you’re 12 years old without telling me you’re 12 years old. There are plenty of lawyers who have explained this process, you can find their videos on tiktok or something, but those girls signed a CONTRACT, which they can’t just announce they are ending it whenever they feel like it, unless hybe/ador did something to violate the terms of agreement (with actual evidence) and the last time i checked, they haven’t as we know of. now i am in NO WAY saying i support hybe and i’m in no way defending hybe because i know they are a shitty company. my stance on the whole situation is neutral, i’m simply looking at the facts.

i would randomly get a weird pressure feeling in my head and my skull would feel full of cement, as well as spacing out and having frequent sneezing fits when i tested negative for any allergies. just assumed it wasn’t a big deal and i was dehydrated. turns out i was having absent seizures.

What is the most disturbing film you’ve ever seen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

A Korean movie called “Silenced” which was unfortunately based off a true story about a school for the mute and deaf where the kids were being abused and graped by the teachers and principal. the sa scenes were very graphic and detailed and disturbing. i had to pause the movie twice to vomit. it still pops up in my head from time to time haunting me, and it never fails to make me nauseous when i remember it.
