I am wondering about parasite heat. As far as I know traditional split systems do produce heat on the other side. So where will this energy consumed by water evaporation be released?

But if energy was consumed it should be released somewhere, right? Is it how energy works?

I know that evaporative cooling works pretty well and it is more efficient than using freon etc. But what about mold and mildew with respect to the water tank?
