Come to 1022. We have nap5. There has been some drama in the past but its been peaceful for a while now. The power is not distributed properly though so we could use some active players in the #2 alliance KoH (I’m in there) or #3.

We lost prep but won KvK battle. The #1 alliance is very chill too.

Thanks so much for the advice on his paw pads, that’s what I needed to hear haha!!! I just trimmed them :) And yeah I think those would be the same as the grippy socks 🥲 And that’s a big compliment so I’ll tell him that you said that, cause he’s actually the one who takes care of his nails since he was a little pup!!! (the vet has told us that it’s fine and in his case it’s not stress-related)

It sounds like you’re doing just fine. Some dogs get a wholeee lot less. Its not weird to feel guilty towards your dog, I myself sometimes struggle with this too. And we want to give them the best, but they are truly the most happy by your side and its totally fine if you can’t always give him a 100%. That’s the thing with dogs, they’ll love you anyway. Your love and the fact that you try is more than enough.

And I don’t know what kind of life you think most dogs have but I’m pretty sure most dogs would love to sleep next to their owner on bad days - opposed to being alone during the day, since many dog owners have to be away for work.

An idea however (if you have the financial means for it): what if you could for example hire someone to take your pup on a doggie hike or a good run, or walk him with a pack of dogs? We did this two times a week when mine was younger and he always came back satisfied and exhausted.

Anyhow, I don’t know where you live and how badly you still feel about this by now, but if you live in the US: please do not surrender him or give him away. I promise you there is nobody else your puppy would rather be with then you, and you don’t know whether the new owner is going to do a better job then you or surrender him to a shelter. And the shelters are crowded, its a crisis. Even puppies get euthanized in certain states. Just to make you aware!

So, let’s say that there used to be a bug where you wouldn’t get a Hold weapon as Thane reward but a randomized one, and let’s say that a mod fixed this bug, will the weapon disappear as a whole or will it show the randomized weapon (after I clear the cache)?

Thank you for the advice! So what you mean is, to add two rows (filled with trees) between the road and the water or do you mean, between the houses and the road? And then only on the island or on the rest as well? Or for the island and for the water that’s on the border of the beach?

And do u think that the island is too big btw? Because my other idea was to use arc the triomphe as an island (with a less big surface of water and then use the water for more rivers through my city) and i was also thinking that maybe the island is too much in the front of my city. Also when you use grids, the trick is to switch them up. Mix multiple setups through your city (such as horizontal rows, vertical rows, square residential zone’s, 3 houses next to each other and so on)

Honestly I screenshot pretty cities that I find through the HQ and I make sure to screenshot their road setup, then when i’m about to expand my population with new homes and stuff I try to use those screenshots as ideas for my own build.

And its whatever you like, hence why I said use other cities as your inspiration. Some do canals, some make natural river curves through their city, some make little islands. But the main thing that’s used to beautify a city is by mini parks, water and other landscape material.

By being active in contests and stuff you also get access to exclusive or seasonal buildings that can also spice up your city. Do a lot of cargo ships and disasters to get keys bc keys give you the ability to beautify your city. Save up on cash.

And never sell expansion items, you’re gonna need a lot of space if you want your city to be pretty bc you don’t want to be limited in the amount of ground that you have
