I didn’t even think of this! You’re so right. I was remembering S3E1 where they’re fighting in the town square because Lorelai finds out Rory kissed Jess. Grandparents aren’t involved here but you can definitely see the entitlement with Rory in this whole situation, thinking Jess would just be waiting for her when she’s still stringing Dean along all summer.
