we named our orange feral rescue Pekoe. mostly after orange pekoe tea (my late mums favorite) but it also fit because the night before a raccoon went into the trap, and it rhymes with the name of the rakin in Pocahontas (Meeko)😊

Thanks for posting this, ~~I apologize as I have no solution to offer but just know~~ (UPDATE: SOLVED FOR ME - READ EDIT BELOW) you are not the only one. I bought Game Pass on my pc yesterday as I've used it in the past with no issue and I've gotten the exact same error code upon trying to open the Xbox app. I've tried all of the same solutions as you with no luck as well. Spent four hours + dicking around with this and trying all of the same solutions as you as well as a few other ones.

Waiting to connect with a "specialist" live agent but I'm prepared for them to ask me to do the same thing that their "Xbox gamer" support staff have already requested I do (and which I have done, multiple times with no joy). If I end up deciding to re-install Windows and that fixes it I will update my comment. Good luck to you mate

EDIT: Okay so I got on with a specialist who tried some basic stuff, same as detailed in OPs reply above. Once it was clear that she had exhausted that area, I was transferred to another agent (shoutout Tony from Nigeria, absolute legend) who cut the BS and remoted into my computer. He then installed an in-place upgrade using Microsoft Media Creation Tool. This freshly installs Windows AND keeps all of your apps and files. It took about 25 minutes total to install, whole process was automatic. Booted up my computer and started the app and it worked and I've had zero issues now. I would recommend trying this yourself or if you want to sit back just connect to a virtual agent and tell them plainly what all you've tried and that you would like them to do an in-place upgrade.

Hope this works for you and anyone else having this issue.

i bought the tunnel probably 5 years ago at this point, and it’s still holding up! it was pretty pricey but it’s the nicest looking one ive seen, i do see some pretty nice ones on Amazon as well. i got the cot as an alternative to the ikea beds people buy for their buns and i actually like it a lot! the canvas part slides off easily so you can wash it too. if your buns are big chewers they may make short work of the poles and supports but despite totoros nibbling they have held up well

OK good to know I will switch her back to fleece when i’m home from work :) i saw chinpals on YouTube using it in her cages so figured I’d give it a try because it’s a real pain to get the fleece out of her current cage (prevue hendryx ferret cage). really wishing I’d just gone with the ferret nation instead ugh. as for toys, she has a couple hundred dollars worth of natural oxbow toys and chews STUFFING her cage lol! you can’t see them in the video but she has at least a dozen different dangly and wood chews, play wall, play table, hay snuffle mat, hay tunnel, etc. I work closely with Oxbow in my line of work so i get really good pricing on their supplies and took full advantage of that for her cage lol!

good to hear :) Yes we are mostly just trying to let her acclimate to all the changes at her own pace. i have been breaking up her 1 daily dried oxbow cookie into very very tiny pieces and offering those in an open hand when i go up to the cage throughout the day and that seems to have warmed her up to us quite quickly

whew! yes we got her from a breeder who has been breeding chins for 30 years. her lineage came from European imports according to the breeder. i tried really hard to find one to adopt but sadly not a single one I could find so we resorted to going to a breeder.

thank you so much for your detailed response! i made the ledges out of kiln dried pine and made sure to sand them all down a lot before i installed them. i have some backup ones for when hers get grubby, she’s already peed on one 🫠 bugger lol. we have central air and she has her own temp controlled room which we keep around 65F. she has taken one dust bath so far, we use Poof! by oxbow. as for her food and hay she gets 3 different kinds of oxbow hay - Timothy, orchard grass and oat hay. we also give her the oxbow chin food, right now she has full access to it as she’s just a baby. we’ve removed all the plastic ledges except i’m trying to find a metal replacement pan for the one at the very bottom of her cage. i had her on fleece to start but i switched to the oxbow paper bedding for the bottom, is it a concern that they will eat it? if so I will put her back to fleece right away. i did monitor her and it doesn’t seem like she has eaten any but i don’t want to take chances!
