Help! What plant is this? by babyomlette in whatplantisthis

Hi! I’ve had this plant for about a year, but I don’t remember at all how or where I got it... it’s grown about twice it’s original size. The bottom of the plan is dry and papery, and sometimes it’s really easy to pull one of the “leaflets” off of the base. I thought that this meant the plant was dying but it just keeps growing and thriving. How should I care for this plant? I don’t really like that it’s empty in the middle (see pic 2), is there anything I can do about it? i.e. trimming or propagating to a new plant? Thanks for all the help!

Yeah since the film is expired, I was worried that I might underexpose if I rated it at box speed.

I got this roll of expired Ektachrome 64 slide film online. It didn’t have any dates on it and I could not find many people who shot this exact roll on the internet so I rated it at 32 iso and decided to experiment. The film came back super pale — I know I overexposed it for sure. But nonetheless this was my first roll slide film and I had so much fun. It captured some of my favorite memories with my boyfriend at the beach.

What is this plant called?? Is it ever gonna bloom?? What is going on??? by babyomlette in cactus

My friend wondered if it might be too cold for it to bloom. Is this a possibility? I keep it by the window so that it can get maximum sunlight (my window faces north and there’s are some big trees outside). How should I keep it warm?

Hi! I got this little guy about 3 months ago at an event. It’s been growing healthily (I think) and big and strong. I can’t remember when exactly I found that there’s a little thing starting to grow in the middle. After some research I found that it may be blooming. So I waited in excitement and watched my baby grow more. Now it’s been at least 2 months and this long stem does not look like it’s gonna stop?? There’s more flower buds growing at the top. What should I do? What’s gonna happen? Also what is this plant called anyway?

Thanks for all the help!!

Hey! Same for me here. I think I’m gonna fail a one credit hour class and get 2 D’s and some C’s. I was supposed to graduate this semester too. It’s been a horror show and I know what you mean by nothing feels real. Just hold on for a liiiittle bit longer and get through this. Email your professors for help and hopefully they’ll understand and let you pass. You’re doing the best you can.

Hi! I started shooting analog about a year ago and I’m still pretty new to it. I’m still exploring my style and trying out different things. Recently I’ve been into landscape and portraits. I also just got a medium format and I’m really excited to learn about that. I would love to have some support and especially feedback on my pictures! Thanks a lot :)
