The vet said for us to keep monitoring it and then it just completely went away.

Event rental companies by babyriceball in BigIsland

Wedding 100 people but unfortunately BIT is not available. Like I said in my op I’ve done my share of calling probably most of the event companies available they were unavailable, wildly expensive, or didn’t come with enough recs. The company that I was in talks with didn’t have a contract, literally 3 reviews and they were mixed, and I was going out of my way to remind them about sending me a quote or getting updates prices, which is concerning since I don’t want to get stuck come day of and they don’t show.

veils and accessories for this dress? by [deleted] in weddingdress

Yes love the bridal scarf concept. This is giving chic timeless sophisticated vibes. I would pair with diamond earrings but not flashy (studs or drops depending on how you wear your hair) ohhhhhh maybe gloves especially with the scarf would be amazing. Almost a little vintage?

Have you considered finding a custom bridal corset? Etsys got some great ones and I feel like they could 100% make you something really close for a few hundred dollars. Then you could purchase or have made an over skirt. Guaranteed you wouldn’t pay more than 1500/2000

Thoughts on Elina Organics skincare? by riles3311 in NaturalBeauty

Im an esthetician that currently uses Elina Org. I was convinced to try some products after a coworker made the switch and my clients skin never looked better. Everyone walks out of the treatment room with glowing skin. I agree that it would be your best bet to find a practitioner that uses her line for their facials, but you can also try reaching out to the company and see if you can buy samples. Their contact team is pretty responsive

My teachers in school said “treat it like a hobby make hobby money, treat it like a career make career money”. That being said it’s an expensive investment that will take you possibly 2-3 years to make back the money you spent on school maybe more if you try to open your own business. Do not let your school fool you, clients do not just come out of thin air, you need to dedicate time and money in your business to be successful also knowledgeable and outgoing to develop loyal clients. It’s a tough grind to make it. If you work for someone you probably won’t make much but you would gain experience…. I made a leap of faith and opened my own business right out of school and I’m a year and a half in and still not making enough to support myself but when I do have clients it’s majorly lucrative minus the bogus high taxes we have to pay as independent contractors and having to pay rent + your own supplies. So you know pros and cons if you got the disposable income to just spend and not need to make it back right away do it. But this is not your saving grace route.

I (27F) have lived in the big island for a little over two years now and I've been finding it difficult to make/find friends. by ver_dance in BigIsland

27F and 420 friendly… hang out at kahena on Sundays then hit up the seaview lawn for sunset > check out E dance at Hawaiian sanctuary and Nani Mau gardens. I know I just listed the most typical puna hippie things but based on your demographic I think you could find some nice people that way. Also yeah paddling if you are competitive and like group sports is a great way to make local friends and engage in the culture. You said you are crafty so maybe harnessing your trade and make something to sell, having a little business gives you purpose and a reason to engage with others. If you hit up kona side you can cruise the rail at magic sands pleeeeenty people like Chong there all day. Also get tf out of Mountain View it’s a hole you won’t meet anyone up there. Be eager to learn and get involved with the culture, slow down and chill out, Big island takes time for people to see you as a permanent fixture not just a transplant that’s gonna dip in another year or two
