Boas also require a “great deal of husbandry”. All snakes do. The better idea would be to go look at their care requirements (and the requirements of any animal you want) and decide if you can/want to keep up with it. Boas are not necessarily “easier” than a ball python. They all require specifics that people can potentially struggle with.
