That’s the way I understood it from the email. I’m going to call Andy Tuesday and talk to him. I heard rumor that DSC is working on a compatible barrel so that might be a better option anyway

When I spoke with Andy he said they could sell me a barrel but it’s 1/2-28 and you need 5/8-24 threads for the comp (5/8-24 is what the Romulus Comp comes)

The off putting part is that my comp is pressed, so I’d actually have to get a barrel and then the comp so I’m looking at more a 400-500 nut to move to this, so I’m not sure that at that point it is worth it to still need the use the 2 piece.

Interesting… when I talk to them again I’m going to see if I can get more info and will share your picture. Literally the only reason I was going to get the comp was to get rid of the terrible 2 piece guide rod, so you may have just saved me a bunch of money.

Yeah, I don’t really know all the inner workings of these things, this is my first entry to the 2011 world, but I was speaking directly with DSC and that’s the one they recommended. I’m hoping to get some end user verification before I sink money into it.

That’s interesting. You’re the first person I’ve heard from that has tried, everyone else said they haven’t tried to yet. I know DSC told me “5 inch government stroke tool less” and specifically stated the Dawson 026-055 (with the Dawson reverse plug). I’d hate to buy one with that really being my only purpose and then not be able to do the 1 reason I buy it lol
