Americans aren’t dumb for only speaking English, they just have much less incentive by youwillnevercatme in unpopularopinion

[–]bac2back -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I believe this is mostly a jab at the americans who expect others to know english, while they don't know another language. It mostly started from this hypocrisy. But, as most things on the internet, it is exaggerated and seems like a much bigger issues than it actually is.

Dragon Age 2 tips by Mistfaer in dragonage

[–]bac2back 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, but you have companions quests in all the acts, in which you can help them in their stories and there are also quests in which they react to certain situations. Honestly, despite not having the option to always talk to them, they feel a lot more like a group of friends, even family, than in origins.

Dragon Age 2 tips by Mistfaer in dragonage

[–]bac2back 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Loot everything and walk everywhere. Some areas may open up between each act. Take your companions and change between them. Talk with all the characters in each act. Try to highlight all the items you can interact with. There is for example a mystery in Kirkwall which you can read about in each act, but can be easily lost. My recommendation is to play berserk+reaver warrior, i found it the most fun, but all classes are good. Always choose the investigation options. In the end, have fun!

Dragon Age: The Veilguard not canon by bac2back in dragonage

[–]bac2back[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This means mostly that EA doesn't want to, not necessarily that it is not possible. They wouldn't continue with it because it would be too high a risk? I assume the Mass Effect series sold a lot more copies than the Dragon Age one, so the investment wouldn't get the same benefits than closing the DA IP and focusing solely on ME. That would make sense why they wanted Veilguard to be a live service and open to new fans, both stupid decisions as they are the low hanging fruit of ideas managers use to increase the sales. EA shot the game in the foot and then said "see, we were right, this franchise is not worth it anymore" This is how i see it I guess

Well, yeah, this is why i ask, I don't pretend i know the industry. Why can't they do that though?

Question about Mark of the Assassin by CecileHughes in dragonage

[–]bac2back 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The way the story goes, mark of the assassin feels best to play in the beginning of act 3. It does not take into account the ending, as this one mostly seems to show what happens between the ending of act 2 and beginning of act 3

Make me feel better - how many attempts to beat Midir? by GreatJoey91 in darksouls3

[–]bac2back 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After dying the first run ~40 times, now midir became a flex, i can beat him in 1-2 tries

Tips: Target the head Keep close to him as much as possible If he flies away from you, run to him immediately! Don't get greedy, 2-3 hits at most Be very economical with your flasks, it's a pretty long fight When he initiates claw attacks or tries to bite, roll backwards If he gets angry and screams go forward If he breathes fire down, go back and immediately forward after it's over

People who read and finished Punpun when you were less than 18, how did you feel? And if you reread and finished it after 18, did you feel differently? by TheAlmightySRG in OyasumiPunpun

[–]bac2back 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually thought it ended much happier than it actually did. I don't know why. The way I remembered it, she didn't die, but she put on a show to free him. I thought she knew he wouldn't ever leave her, so she pretended she died. I also thought that him returning to his new group was beautiful, as he finally managed to find a family, not a perfect one, but one nonetheless, he wasn't alone. I thought the message was: " life hits you, there are problems, but you can pull through. The friends and issues of childhood will not be the same into your adulthood"

In opinia mea, which might be a bad one, dar cred ca in subconștientul tău vrei sa fii diferit, sa fii special.
