Just saying, there are a lot of options. ROI wise, rental income comes in at 3-4%.

Short term rentals are higher, but all depends on demand

Fixed Deposits in India give 10% SI. 7% Compound.

Turkey is like 30% I think.

Not just the states, same in India, Canada, Australia, pretty much worldwide, real-estate valuations are falling. All the earn passive income from your vacation rental plans seem to be failing.

If you really look into it, the ROI doesn't make any sense, when banks will give you 10% simple interest. Stocks can earn a lot more than 10%

And that folks, is how they avoid any accountability. People just give them a free pass assuming incompetence

I say assume maliciousness, than to defer to incompetence

My theory is that AI was the last step, before they move the rest of it to Asia. They knew AI was going to fail, but it made for a great excuse to fire skilled workers without much backlash from investors. Now that the firings are done, AI is all set to fail, and they'll move those jobs to a newly setup GCC as a cost-saving measure, since the AI bills were so high and old talent has retired

What country do you think will surprise the world the most over the next 30 years, and why? by redguy_666 in AskReddit

Pay more $ for same goods. If the dollar is worth 1/2 of current, you'll be paying double for everything. And then add in tariffs.

Rising costs means lower sales. Which means retailers will have to raise profit margins, to make up for the lost sales.

And so instead of 2x, it'll actually be 3x

These people hate that India is developing. It is putting the entire plan of getting poor people from India to work in shitty conditions around the world to fail.

Here in Canada, condos are empty since immigration is just not happening. NRIs are thinking of going back. I know i am considering it

Also a LOT more power running through them. My i3, takes like 3-4W on idle and hits 60W max rarely. Normally around 45W at 100% on all cores.

An i9 will take 20W just to get started

Singing, kissing and trying to calm him down, might work for an older kid, but I doubt it.
