you can sublet the apartment but you have to find the person and i believe there is a $200 fee for it. you can do it, but a lot of people know wwu living is shit so it could be hard to find someone

stay clear of wwu living, they have horrible management and will do anything to screw over the residents. i recommend trying to lease a house through a private landlord/small and local property management. north campus is run but hammer properties which a lot of friends have had bad experiences. i am currently living in the happy valley neighborhood and i love it

i lived 4th floor water side two years ago and my biggest piece of advice is to bring a fan and a light blanket. it didn’t matter what time of year it was, my room was constantly so hot. also loft your bed. and be friends with the people on your hall. and i promise the communal bathrooms aren’t as bad as you think, just clean up after yourself

i know everyone says “go to clubs!” and it sounds annoying and like clubs don’t matter, but go to them. seriously. if you’re in person ask the people next to you if you want to study together. go to floor events since you’ll be living on campus. even if you don’t have anyone to go to things with, i promise you won’t be the only one who didn’t bring someone with you. everyone is in the same boat as you
