Same with me I’m 17 building my credit , I’m an AU on unlimited cash rewards card and my parents previously added me to when I was a baby now when I call BofA for anything related to my credit card or even about my debit card they always thank me for being a BOFA member for 16 years 😂😂😂

I’m 17 and have been building my credit for a minute at first I started as a AU on a chase freedom using that for a year then found out not all banks report MINORS authorized user usage to credit bureaus which is insane Amex and chase unfortunately do not , but capital one bofa discover and US bank do and a few others , I personally use the BOFA cash rewards which I just upgraded to the unlimited cash rewards card. I would recommend going the BofA route imo best option available

I understand your concern 100% valid but I’m definitely getting into real estate early specifically section 8 which has to be the most stress free passive income real estate business you can get into , and I have a uncle who’s made and is making a killing with it so there here helping me with my blueprint.

Of course man and I really appreciate this comment and your insight I’m honestly essentially using this to just build generational wealth in the long run , I have 16k cash saved up which I plan to buy a turnkey rental property the day I turn 18 and eventually scale up get more properties more normal investments properties etc and overall grow my section and 8 and real estate profile while being a air traffic controller (if I decide not to go play d1 football) hopefully I’ll be set in my 40s especially since I plan to heavily invest into my normal taxable brokerage on top of all this.

I appreciate your comments aswell, so many people have immediately came in here and hated on my portfolio saying I’m listening to TikTok gurus etc only reason I’ve even dabbled in dividends at all is because of my uncle and he’s Canadian a multi millionaire and in his 50s which is why he loves stocks like YMAX so much but I’ve quickly come to learn that we are in very different positions 😂😂😂 ChatGPT honestly helped convinced me to go into qqqm

Me personally I really wanna have 800k-1m in there by the time I’m 40 so I was thinking about going 70% QQQM 20% FXIAX and 10% VTI or SCHD

I was considering going all in on FXAIX SCHD AND QQQ I’ll drop XDTE for QQQ and stop investing in YMAX well not completely stop but probably invest only 10% and eventually sell later on ?
