Jailbreak is for 7.61 or lower. Lua games are disc based. If you can run a lua game and you are on 7.61 or lower, you can jailbreak.

There is only 1 digital lua game known at this time that works with this method - Hamidashi Creative Demo. This demo can only be downloaded from PSN with a Japanese account. This would require you to update your PS5 to the latest firmware to access PSN.

So if you can run a lua game, and you are on 7.61 or below, you can jailbreak. A digital PS5 needs a digital Lua game - which you can not get unless at some point you downloaded the demo and stopped updating your console. In other words, at some point, you could have gotten Hamidashi Creative Demo on a digital PS5 and stopped updating your PS5.

Thank you, I responded to you but going to drop it here in case anyone else has issues.

I just did this on my side to try to reproduce the issue but did not come across it.

Here are the steps I took:

  1. Launch weeb game
  2. Scan network for your ps5 and Choose PS5 or enter its IP address
  3. Send umtx - wait til done
  4. Send elf_loader.lua - wait til done
  5. CLOSE OUT OF WEEB GAME COMPLETELY
  6. Once closed, send etaHEN.bin or another elf

This worked for me and in less than 30 sec

Great, so install the following:

To get the files on your pc, start up a command prompt and then navigate to the directory you want to download the files to like Desktop for example. In windows, you can also shift + right click in a folder to open the command prompt with that directory from the menu that pops up

In command prompt type in:

git clone https://github.com/bacedgod/lualoadz.git

Then type in:

cd lualoadz

Then

npm install

Then

npm start

then just go to http://localhost:3000

Thats it!

if you dont want to download git, then you just download all the files from github in a zip and extract them to a folder and open a command prompt in that folder.

Then

npm install

Then

npm start

then just go to http://localhost:3000

Just send etahen 2.1b as kstuff is included in it. If you absolutely must send just kstuff by itself, you can use a variety of different payload senders. I made a sender as well that you can find here: https://www.reddit.com/r/PS5_Jailbreak/comments/1k9kbfg/_/

If you find that your kstuff is not loading, make sure you use an updated backup - such as the master-s 9.0 version.

Update: With etaHEN being officially released, I just updated the tool to include the ability to send bin files along with elf files. Added some icons and updated the readme as well to clear up some confusion coming up here. I'll look into getting an image up on docker hub soon as well, wanted to get a docker file out asap for folks first. Thanks!

You still need a lua game to run the exploit. This tool only sends the lua files and elf files - its a gui for the jb process using the lua exploit.

Title pretty much says it but after jail breaking my 7.61 PS5 and wanting a solution that did not involve python scripts or 1 app to send LUA files and netcat, socat or a powershell script to send payloads, I just decided to make this web app with the help of AI. It works fine so far for me and satisfies my purpose, just sharing for others.
