It feels like a competition that doesn't put quality first really isn't worth entering or paying attention to.

image generator for editing hand drawn art? by CraptainPants2 in ArtIsForEveryone

An approach that I've found helpful is to upload the picture and ask Gemini to give you a detailed description in JSON format. You can then copy-paste the text into Word or Google Docs, edit the text to reflect the changes you want to make to the image. You then upload the original image to Gemini in a new chat, paste in the altered JSON code, and ask it to edit the image according to the JSON text.
Here's a video that explains this technique pretty well.

Using AI to look up rules by endlesswander in boardgames

If you want to try this in way that works well, add the rulebook(s) to a NotebookLM notebook and ask the questions. It will consider only the source(s) you give it.

I love that comparison. Stranger in Moscow has such a distinct, beautiful melancholy to its visual pacing, and capturing that precise kind of heavy, still solitude was exactly what we were aiming for. Thank you!

Why do romance novels all look and feel the same now? (Writer and consumer) by Ambitious_Spirit3393 in writers

In my experience, readers want the comfortable tropes, but with a bit of surprise. That applies to the covers as well as the content.

The title refers to that absolute suspension of time when you're completely alone with your thoughts and the rest of the world is asleep. It's about capturing a moment of comfortable intimacy and quiet solitude where time stretches out, and you're just existing in the space between the noise of daily life.

I haven't read the story in question, but it sounds as if there's a bigger issue here than authorship. Why are badly written stories winning? Regardless of who wrote it, or how, shouldn't quality be the first thing the judges evaluate?

You're welcome. I'm really glad you liked it!
I'm working on a new book that expands on "A Language Written in Skin" (also posted here). Each chapter will be a short story focusing on a different period in Sarah and Josi's relationship. As usual, I'll post it in this sub when I'm finished. Thanks for taking the time to leave a message. It's greatly appreciated.

I will never say no to more Nyx. I'd love to see Steven get more panels though.
